A little something to help you stay balanced.

I turned twenty four years old on Tuesday and despite feeling as though the excitement of birthdays was something that I have outgrown, I can quite confidently say that I received the best gift I have ever been given.

Let me introduce you to the Lokai bracelet. Created by Steven Izen, this little bracelet is anything but your average style statement.

The white bead contains water from Mt Everest and the black bead, placed directly opposite, carries Mud from the Dead Sea: The highest and lowest points on earth.

The black bead is there to remind us that even during life’s most testing and lowest moments, we should always stay hopeful. While the white bead represents the fact that it is in the times when we are feeling on top of the world, that we should stay humble.

The clear beads in-between are a representation of the fact that everyone has their own story, and despite life being filled to the brim with its ups and downs, every point of our journey is just as significant. Reminding us to stay balanced.

10% of net profits are also dedicated to various different charities.

So whether you’re down on your luck or just needing a little something to help you keep your feet on the ground, don’t forget to hold your balance and #LiveLokai

“Life is full of joy and sadness, and we can all relate to its highs and lows. I hope that lokai will remind you to stay balanced and centred along your journey.”

– Steven Izen, founder of lokai
