100 Days of Happiness: Week 9

It has been a bit of a weird week really. I found my dream apartment, complete with pantry and wood burner (Beaut right?) I even began packing as we would have been moving pretty sharpish, but it all fell through.

Of course I believe in all that “everything happens for a reason” stuff but attempting to continue with “100 Days of Happiness” has proven itself to be quite the challenge recently.

Despite all this, I believe that it is super important to remember that when things are not going your way, you should never look back. Keep moving forward because that’s the direction in which you are going.

Day 55

Seeing blossom whilst running errands is one of the best things about May.

Day 56

I recently ordered this genius little book which allows you to pen letters to your future self. As it states on the cover, it acts as a paper time capsule and I just think that it is such an awesome idea.

Even if you didn’t want to order this specific book, the concept is something that I would definitely recommend doing.

Day 57

The sun has been out in full force recently so I just scraped my hair back, put on some comfy clothes and went outside to make the most of it.

Day 58

I often miss living in a city but when I go out and about in the country, I remember how lucky I am.

Day 59

I love homeware. However my sister isn’t so fussed. When she saw this she looked at me and said “What’s so good about a paper bag?”

I think you either like it or you don’t get it at all. I happen to think that it’s mega cute.

Day 60

Reading in the sun. Total bliss.

Day 61

Sundays are definitely made for staying in bed a binge watching box sets right?

I hope you have all had a nice week lapping up the sun!

  1. Sorry to hear your apartment fell through – but you’re right everything does happen for a reason! I really like the letters to my future self concept – will defo look into that 😊
