So I’ve been liking some stuff recently which feels like a miracle because I’ve been a miserable B-word for what seems like a lifetime now.
I thought I’d savour the moment and take this opportunity to share with you some of the stuff that has been tickling my fancy (Lol)
Let’s start as we mean to go on folks!
These watermelon socks are the bomb but to be honest, I have no idea what’s wrong with me I’ve just been buzzing off printed socks in general at the minute.
Now, I used to be your usual black sock wearer. Not anymore kids. Not anymore. I love wearing a plain black outfit but then BOOM, there’s a party going on in the sock department.
Any socks, anywhere, anytime.
I don’t have any tattoos and don’t intend to get any. However, It doesn’t stop me spending my Sunday’s watching back to back episodes of this show. If you haven’t seen it then A) Where have you been? and B) you need to get on it.
The show is based around a load of people who have mega dodgy tattoos, have realised the error of their ways and need cover ups. The episodes are available to watch on All 4.
It’s been boiling in the UK for a good amount of time now and the last thing I want is a long soak in a hot bath. Showers all the way. Or at least I thought.
My sister bought me a selection of Lush goodies for my birthday so I have been enthusiastically working my way through these bad boys and loving every second of it.
The scents that are available in store at the minute are so refreshing and perfect for this heat. I would definitely recommend going and having a little browse.
Follow – Tom and Laura Misch
This song was recommended to me and I love it. There’s not much I can say about it apart from the fact that it’s just chill. It has such a relaxed arrangement and I would definitely say that you need to give it listen.
I described it as the ultimate soundtrack to my Sundays but to be honest, I haven’t been able to stop listening to it all week. If you’re into soft jazz, then this one’s for you.
The Kinfolk Home
I have had my eye on this for a really long time now but for some reason have never purchased it. Luckily, I got it as a birthday present from my dad and am so glad that I did.
For those of you that don’t know, The Kinfolk Home is a collection of photographs and essays from 35 residences across five continents that embody the values of slower living.
The book welcomes us into the homes of designers, architects, photographers and stylists who discuss how the principles of slow living have had a positive impact on their lives.
It is really up my street and if you haven’t already, you definitely need to have a flick through. I found it really inspiring.
