OH HEY. I’m finally back!
I’ve been struggling a bit with my mental health so I decided to take some time out and dedicate it to all of that self care shizz.
Seeing as I’ve been feeling like absolute turd recently, I wouldn’t be surprised if any of you lot had grown a wizard beard in the time it has taken me to upload the next instalment of “The Disposable Series”.
I went to Devon recently and anyone from in and around the UK will know how absolutely breath taking it is around there. Naturally, I decided that I would pack some disposable cameras and see what I could shoot.
It ended up being exactly what I needed guys. You know that feeling when you just want to go sit by the sea for a while? I had that in the days leading up to this trip so the timing couldn’t have been better.
Having said that, Dartmoor National Park was without a doubt the best part of the entire trip for me. I don’t think I’ll ever find a place in the UK more fitting to practicing mindfulness.
We came across Avon Dam which is situated within the park itself and to call it impressive just feels like such an understatement. The fact that something as powerful and majestic as that could remain so still, filled me with this sense of calm that I’ve never felt before on that sort of scale.
I had a feeling that Devon would be the perfect place to take this series next and I wasn’t wrong. I hope you like it.
Thank you so much for reading guys. You can catch “Disposable London” here.
