New In: Skin Care.

I picked up a few skincare bits recently because my skin doesn’t do too well in the amount of heat that England has been experiencing recently.

There are only three items to share but I’m really excited to try them out so thought that I would show them to you guys on the blog. You know, just in case you’re interested in something similar.

Purchasing beauty products from Asos is never something that I usually think about doing but I decided to have a quick scroll through the day before yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised with the selection to be honest because they had a lot more to offer than I had expected. Here are the things that caught my eye.

The first thing that I decided I definitely wanted were these Yes To Cotton Wipes.

The slightest change in weather or hormones and I end up like Bloat from Finding Nemo so when I came across the Yes To Cotton range, I knew that I was on to a winner. It’s the first time I have ever bought anything from this range because it never appealed to me, until now that is.

These wipes are a great option for ultra-sensitive and allergy prone skin. They contain cottonseed oil to help towards preventing irritation.

What I really loved about them is that they are not tested on animals and the actual wipe material itself is partly made from recycled cotton t-shirts.

I get drawn towards products that are gentle, caring, soft, nourishing and kind to skin. These wipes are exactly that.

The next thing that I decided to try was the Rimmel London Lip Balm from the Kate Moss collection.

What really drew me to this was that it is designed to last for eight hours. Which in summer is important for me.

It really is as simply as it seems. I’m yet to give it a whirl but I’d be more than happy to let you know how I get on.

Lastly is this high-strength vitamin and mineral blemish formula by The Ordinary.

The Ordinary describe themselves as “The abnormal beauty company” and everything from the packaging to their ethos really appeals to me.

This formula contains vitamin B3 to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion, balances visible sebum activity and Is a great way to get your skin feeling super healthy all year round.

You simply apply the serum to your entire face morning and evening before heavier creams.

Definitely looking forward to trying this out.

All the products that I have talked about in the post are linked and my first impressions are really positive!

I hope you’re having a good week so far. Thanks for reading.
