Alright Geez? I’m a firm believer that Saturdays are the perfect day to get organized for the week ahead because on Sundays you just want to spend the day chillin’ don’t you?
I was sorting through a few bits in my room today and realised that I had picked up some pieces that will hopefully be seeing me through winter. I thought that I’d put together a little post for anyone needing some winter style/beauty inspo. Let’s get to it.
My Kind Of Christmas Jumper
Christmas Star Sweatshirt, £20, Monki
I don’t give a shizzle that this is described as a “Christmas” sweatshirt. I’m still going to be wacking this bad boy out all year round.
I’m really into anything celestial at the moment and luckily for me, it’s the perfect time of year to find it. I love my jumpers to be as oversized as possible so as usual, I picked up the largest size available, XL.
Its not as big as I had hoped so if your wanting something super oversized I probably wouldn’t go for this. Having said that, It is such a cosy jumper which completely won me over.
Abstract Earrings, £8? I think. They were a present, Oliver Bonas
I don’t know if I’m slightly cheating here because I didn’t actually buy these myself.
My love for abstract jewellery is ever growing and my sister is well aware of this. She surprised one day when she came home from work (I know, she’s a ledge.) with these beauties from Oliver Bonas.
I am currently obsessed with the middle pair. They just seem to add a teeny bit of pizazz to any outfit.
A Cosy Pearl Jumper
Pearl Embellished Jumper, £13, Primark
I bought this a while ago now but since picking it up, I’ve noticed a few different places selling similar jumpers.
Primark do this version in grey but also a cream/oatmeal colour too. What I love about this jumper is that It feels festive without being in your face. It’s perfect for dressing both up and down meaning that I hopefully get quite a lot of wear out of it.
The Snazzy Trousers
Trousers, £19.99, H&M
The very second that I laid my eyes on these trousers I knew that I definitely had to have them.
Firstly, I don’t own anything quite like them. Wide leg trousers are something that I’m very particular about. I don’t like a lot of them on me unless they are cropped. I think it has something to do with the footwear situation.
Anyway, not only are these cropped, they are also absolute perfection. I was expecting them to be quite thin but I was so happy to find out that they are going to be perfect for the colder months too.
With a statement pair of socks and my Stan Smith’s, they are gonna look bangin’.
The Bargain Advent Calendar
Advent Calendar, £12, Superdrug
Am I the only one who thinks that the price of advent calendars is getting pretty ridic?
I just feel that spending around £300 on an advent calendar sounds a bit silly when there’s a gazillion other things that you could spend that sort of money on. Especially around Christmas. I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me.
Anyway, I came across Bloom’s “12 Days Of Christmas” calendar in Superdrug that features a miniature bottle of perfume on each day. I loved the idea of It and from what I’ve seen, the little bottles are absolutely friggin’ adorable.
It cost £12 and for the quality of the calendar and the amount of product that you get within, I think that’s really reasonable.
I’ve seen a few awesome calendars this year. It seems that more companies are jumping on board which is great. I thought that I’d show you this one on the blog today though because it is by far my favourite one.
So those are the few bits that I have picked up recently. I hope you enjoyed today’s post and are having a really good Saturday!
