If London is my true love, then Paris is the one that got away.
I’ve decided to take some time out from Oxfordshire, and the whole of England to be honest, in a bid to get re-inspired, focus a little more on my mental health and do a whole lot of writing. I want to find a coffee shop, sit with my notebook and pen whilst watching life go by. Naturally for me, Paris seems the perfect place to do that.
It’s pretty grim in Oxfordshire at the moment but I’m finding it quite relaxing packing for my week away and watching Girls whilst the rain pours down outside.
I decided to take a few snaps to give you an insight into how I like to pack and what will be joining my on my trip.
As you know, I’m a pretty relaxed dresser and I like to keep it that way when I’m travelling. I’m someone that mixes style with comfort because I want to fully immerse myself in the culture around me.
Of course, I’ll be packing the navy COS jumper that I have worn to death since buying it. I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to tell from my Instagram haha. Also, I picked up a vintage cream bag recently which will be perfect for taking to Paris because I can pack it flat into my case.
I usually get annoyed with the amount of dust bags that I have lying around but they come in handy when travelling.
I use them for clothes that I don’t want to get damaged, to hold my make-up, toiletries and even have one to carry all of my tech stuff (camera charges, portable charger cables, phone stuff etc.)
I would really recommend using them because they take up less room than your average toiletry bag.
I’m someone that finds it quite easy to fall into the trap of over packing so I try to be strict with myself and only take the things I know I will use.
Keep your eyes peeled because there will be some Paris content up on the blog very soon.
As always, thanks for reading and take care!
