“You know, I sometimes think, how is anyone ever going to be able to come up with a book, or a painting, or a sculpture that can compete with a great city. You can’t. Because you look around and every street, every boulevard, is its own special art form.” – Midnight In Paris
In true British style it is absolutely pouring it down with rain today which has left Flo curled up on my lap and me reminiscing about strolling around the gorgeous sunny streets of Paris last month.
Did I mention that I absolutely loved it? Well it turns out I’m a pretty big fan. I came across some photos on my phone recently of a particular night that I really don’t want to forget.
We all know that Paris is a city of beauty but as the night draws in, there’s a shift. Whilst walking around at midnight I got the distinct feeling that something truly magical was happening.
At nightfall, the shimmering city of Paris becomes even more enchanting, romantic and picturesque than I had ever imagined and I wanted a place to put all of the memories but also share them on the blog because after all, what could be more divine than a midnight moonlit walk around Paris?
